Help build a health service fit for the future

Over the coming months we are running the biggest consultation in NHS history.

Our NHS is broken, but not beaten, and we have made it our mission to fix it. Whether you use the NHS or work in it, you see first-hand what’s great, but also what isn’t working.

That’s why we’ve launched the biggest ever national conversation about its future. The responses will shape the Government’s 10 Year Health Plan to fix the health service and shape the next chapter of its history.

Consultation events in Buckingham and Bletchley

We want to hear from you!

To make sure that local voices are heard, my team are running a series of events across the constituency to gather your views and experiences. All of us have encountered the NHS in one way or another, and we want you to have your say on our beloved national institution.

Drop by our NHS consultation workshops:

·       Buckingham: 3 February, Buckingham Community Centre, Cornwalls Meadow, MK18 1RP, 10am-12pm. Click here for a shareable poster.

·       Quainton: 6 February, Station Rd, Quainton, Aylesbury HP22 4BW, 5-7pm. Click here for a shareable poster.

·       Bletchley: 10 February, Queensway Methodist Hall, Queensway, MK2 2HB, 10am-12pm. Click here for a shareable poster.

There’s no need to sign up, you can just pop by and speak to one of my small but mighty team.

Have your say online

If you cannot make any of our consultation events, please do fill in our online survey via the online platform: Change.NHS.uk. There is an option to print off forms and send them back by post if you prefer to work offline.

The survey is quick to fill in, and it cannot be stressed enough: everyone is invited to contribute.

Next steps

The 10 Year Health Plan will consider both what immediate actions are needed to get the NHS back on its feet and bring waiting lists down, as well as the longer-term changes needed to move the NHS from focussing from ‘sickness’ to ‘prevention’.

It is expected to launch in the Spring.
