My role as your MP
As Buckingham and Bletchley’s MP, I will act as your voice in Parliament, and you can ask me questions about my votes in the House of Commons; as well as my stance on issues that matter to you. I promise that I take this part of the job incredibly seriously. I will always vote with my conscience and for what I believe to be the best interest of my constituents.
As your representative, I am accountable to you, and I encourage local residents to get in touch to tell me about their issues and problems. However, with such a busy inbox, I do have to prioritise messages asking me specific questions and regarding urgent casework ahead of campaign emails, but I will always get back to you.
If you are contacting me from an organisation located within the constituency we will aim to respond as soon as possible. If you are located outside Buckingham and Bletchley, a response will be provided on a discretionary basis.
I aim to be a proactive, visible, and accessible MP, and this is why I place such importance of getting out and about and going to every part of the patch. I’ve already visited dozens of schools, charities, and independent businesses and love to highlight how brilliant and diverse our patch is. If you would like me to stop by, do let me know. Please also bear in mind that my diary is usually planned at least two months ahead.
